Caring for a kids’ back print

• Wash inside out at 30°C on a gentle cycle, with similar colours.
• Use a mild detergent. No bleach, and no fabric softener — softener coats the fibres and dulls the print.
• Hang or lay flat to dry. Tumble drying is the fastest way to age a print.
• Iron inside out only. Press from the inside, never directly over the 27 × 27 cm back portrait.

This portrait is printed, not embroidered. That allows the same full-colour portrait on a child’s back at 27 × 27 cm, scaled for the smaller hoodie. Washed cool and dried flat it holds for years; repeated hot washes and tumble drying will soften any printed garment over time.
