Full-Back Portrait Hoodie
A 32 × 50 cm portrait printed across the whole back
The largest portrait we make. Printed 32 × 50 cm across the entire back of a 280 gsm organic cotton hoodie — from below the collar to near the hem — in full colour, with nothing on the front. This is a print, not embroidery: that is what lets it be this large and hold every colour in the original, where our stitched badge is limited to 10 × 10 cm and six thread shades. Printed to order in England.

Will it actually look like them?
Drag to compare. A white animal on a pale ground is the hardest case for watercolour; the whiskers hold.

Caring for a full-back print
- Wash inside out at 30°C on a gentle cycle, with similar colours.
- Use a mild detergent. No bleach, and no fabric softener — softener coats the fibres and dulls the print.
- Hang or lay flat to dry. Tumble drying is the fastest way to age a print this size.
- Iron inside out only. The print covers most of the back, so there is no safe area to iron over it — press from the inside and the design is never touched.
This portrait is printed, not embroidered — that is deliberate, and it is what allows it to be 32 × 50 cm and hold every colour in the original photograph, where thread would be limited to a 10 × 10 cm badge in six shades. The ink is bonded into the cotton rather than sitting on top, so it will not peel or crack. Washed cool and dried flat it holds for years; washed hot and tumble dried repeatedly, a print this large has more to lose than a small one.
